These terms govern use of Funcspace, a Bookcicle, LLC service. By creating an account or publishing a profile or report, you agree to these terms. Contact support@bookcicle.com with questions.
Your company content
You are responsible for the company facts, reports, sources, and materials you submit, including material prepared with ChatGPT or brought from Bookcicle. You retain ownership of your content and give Funcspace permission to store, process, and display it according to the visibility choices you make. Do not submit material you lack the right to use or publish. Funcspace may reject content that violates these terms or applicable law.
Drafts, previews, and publication
A preview is a private draft, not a public publication. For anonymous previews, anyone with a valid link may view the limited preview until it expires or is revoked. Keep the link private. A preview link does not establish ownership of a company or permit publication. Publishing requires an account, confirmation of the exact version, and an ownership check. Public profiles and reports may be viewed, indexed, or shared by others while discoverability is enabled.
Discovery weights and matching
Funcspace plans are designed with relative algorithmic discovery weights: Free 1×, Monitoring up to 2×, and Active up to 6×. These are candidate-selection weights among similarly relevant published profiles, not multipliers on investor views, introductions, or fundraising outcomes. The weights apply only after investor discovery launches and the network reaches 100 published founder profiles. A paid boost requires a current completed Funcspace service review. Unpublished, hidden, or insufficiently relevant profiles are not boosted; a stale review returns to the Free baseline. Investor filters, relevance, available inventory, and investor activity also affect whether a profile is shown. Active includes proactive matching when that service is available; matching and introductions are not guaranteed.
Research and service limits
Founder-authored reports and Funcspace updates may contain estimates, incomplete information, and third-party sources. Validation of a report format is not independent verification of its claims. Funcspace does not provide investment, legal, or financial advice and does not guarantee investment, introductions, or a particular discovery result. Features described as upcoming are not part of the service until they are made available.
Deployment and previews
Development and test workflows, demonstrations and planned monitoring or matching features do not establish production availability. Public research sourced from public material is different from an owner-approved profile; claiming a company does not automatically publish a new version. Review and authorize the exact version before publication.
Plans and changes
Any paid plan price, renewal terms, and available features will be shown before purchase. You may change discoverability or stop publishing through available account controls. We may update these terms as the service develops and will display the effective date of the current version.
This policy explains how Funcspace, a Bookcicle, LLC service, handles information on the Funcspace site and in Funcspace accounts, reports, previews, and investor workflows. Contact privacy@bookcicle.com about privacy requests.
Information we receive
We receive account identifiers and authentication information; company details, fundraising goals, traction, reports, sources, and publication choices you submit; investor interest requests, including contact details and investment preferences; and technical records needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. If you use a connected ChatGPT workflow when available, Funcspace receives only the information deliberately sent through its tools, not your full chat history. Bookcicle material is received only when you choose to submit it.
How we use it
We use this information to create and validate drafts, show previews, publish your chosen content, operate investor discovery and matching when available, provide requested monitoring, administer plans, prevent abuse, and respond to support and privacy requests. We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, communications, payments, and security. Your use of ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI's own terms and privacy practices.
No model training and deployment status
Bookcicle does not use submitted content to train, fine-tune or improve AI models. Research and assisted workflows may use relevant content with providers to perform the requested task. Funcspace features undergoing development or test acceptance are not generally available production services. Features described as upcoming are available only when explicitly enabled.
Who can see your content
Drafts are not listed as public profiles. A person with a valid semi-private preview link may see its limited contents. When you publish and enable discoverability, investors and other visitors can see the public version of your profile or report. Private chat references and private Bookcicle references are excluded from the public version. You control what you submit and choose to publish; disabling discoverability stops Funcspace from listing the profile, though copies already shared or indexed elsewhere may remain.
Retention and choices
We keep account and published information while needed to provide the service, and retain limited records as needed for security, billing, disputes, or legal obligations. Anonymous previews have an expiry shown with the link. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information by writing to privacy@bookcicle.com. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or to protect the service.
Security and changes
We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect preview links and account credentials. We may update this policy as Funcspace changes and will display the effective date of the current version.
Funcspace uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences and support the service. Some values expire with a session; others remain until they expire or you clear them.
Purposes
Essential storage supports authentication, security and requested features. Preference storage remembers theme preferences and preview edit sessions. Measurement and attribution identifiers help us understand visits, reliability and interactions. Sign-in, payment and other integrated providers may set their own cookies or storage when you use those features; their handling is subject to their own policies.
Your controls
You can inspect, block or clear cookies and site storage through browser settings. Clearing storage may sign you out or reset preferences; blocking essential storage may prevent features from working. Where applicable law provides an opt-out, contact privacy@bookcicle.com. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required. Clearing browser storage does not cancel a subscription or delete information stored with your account.
Privacy and updates
See the Privacy Policy for how information is used, shared and retained. We may update this policy as practices change and communicate material changes through the site or other appropriate channels.
Funcspace Security Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Protecting information
We employ end-to-end encryption for connections to all service endpoints, and encryption at rest for stored information.
We use access controls. Keep credentials private and grant access only to intended recipients. Shared operations across Bookcicle brands do not grant users access to another person’s data.
Product protections
Private drafts, preview edit tokens and owner claims have different permissions from public research and approved published profiles. Protect preview links and edit tokens. Publication requires authorization for the reviewed version; turning off discoverability cannot retrieve copies already shared or indexed elsewhere. Development and test features do not establish production availability.
Monitoring and response
We monitor for unusual activity and use safeguards to detect and prevent unauthorized access and abuse. Security issues are investigated and addressed through our operational processes. Where an incident requires notification under applicable law, we notify affected users through appropriate channels.
SOC 2 Status
Funcspace is actively working toward SOC 2 Type II readiness. We are currently reviewing our technical and operational controls, remediating identified gaps, and formalizing evidence collection and security processes. We have not yet completed a SOC 2 examination.
Report an issue
Report potential vulnerabilities to security@bookcicle.com. Include enough detail to reproduce the issue without unnecessary personal information. Avoid disrupting the service or accessing others’ data. We investigate legitimate reports and take appropriate action.
Limits and updates
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as practices evolve and communicate material changes through the site or other appropriate channels. See the Privacy Policy for retention and privacy choices.
